"As an architect and mother of 2 girls, I get inspired by both my work and my children to develop creative products for cuddling, playing and everyday use. I like those small moments of amazement which we often dont realize enough in our everyday routines. I wish to encourage storytelling by designing products that leave space for imagination and the freedom to create your own story around it."says Michaela Weisskirchner-Barfod founder and designer of FABELAB, who lives with her husband and two daughters in Copenhagen. With her background in architecture and scenography, previous work experience with international architects and the Copenhagen Royal Theatre, Michaela combines spacial principles and storytelling into functional and inspiring products.
